Main research areas
Theory of political obligation
I explore critically the modern theories of political obligation (consent, gratitude, fair play, natural duty, membership, philosophical anarchism, etc..) and theories of political authority and legitimacy to the extent they are related to the problem of political obligation. I look for a realist theory of political obligation.
Political ethics in non-democratic context
I examine the political-ethical challenges of people living in non-democratic settings and the factors that shape the political-ethical landscape of such settings both in historical and contemporary contexts.
Political realism
I study various fields of contemporary realist political theory (epistemological issues, regime theory, political ethics) as well as the history of realist political thought.
