Holocaust

My research focuses mainly on the social history of the Holocaust and the immediate post-Holocaust period. My research is multidisciplinary, at the border between sociology and history. Methodologically, I am particularly concerned with how social research methodology can be used to research archival material. I am also concerned with the potential applications of natural language processing.

Antisemitism

My research is mainly concerned with contemporary anti-Semitism. I am particularly interested in researching antisemitism using traditional survey methods. Although, recently, I have been doing a lot of research on the analysis of various texts available online or electronically using natural language processing. This provides an opportunity for in-depth research on online antisemitism.

Memory politics

In my research, I am mainly concerned with the role of memory politics in the political discourse in Hungary after 1989. I am particularly interested in the relationship between identity politics, populism, and memory politics.
